All About Garth Brooks’ Daughters

August, Allie, and Taylor are the three daughters of Garth Brooks.

The country music artist and his ex-wife Sandy Mahl welcomed their kids. After becoming engaged in 1986, the two college sweethearts split in 1999 and then divorced in 2001.

Garth temporarily left the music industry at the time of their breakup to assist in raising his girls. He moved them into a one-bathroom bunkhouse on his Oklahoma ranch, where he started to develop stronger relationships with them.

Celebrity country music singer Garth Brooks opened up on parenting his daughters following his divorce during the 2019 A&E documentary film Garth Brooks: The Road I’m On.

Brooks revealed, “I was living with three strange women that I did not know. They were 8, 6, and 4, I was about to get a crash course in females…and my best friend showed up.”

The Oklahoman is very appreciative of Yearwood, whom he married in 2005, for her assistance in raising his kids. Additionally, he thinks the girls benefited much from having “three parents” raise them. Garth is grateful for how everything worked out despite the difficulties involved in getting a divorce and welcoming a stepparent.

During an interview with FOX News, he admitted, “They got the right amount of their mom in them, the right amount of me in them, and the right amount of Trisha’s influence in them as well. So I think everything happens for a reason at a time.”

On July 8, 1992, Garth became a father through his eldest daughter, Taylor.

After this, nothing else matters,” Garth reportedly declared following her delivery, as reported by the Orlando Sentinel. Additionally, Mahl fell and “nearly lost the baby” during her pregnancy with Taylor, according to the publication. She followed her physicians’ advice and didn’t experience any further problems, the site said.

Although Taylor has not made any public appearances, Garth provided a glimpse of her in his 2019 A&E documentary Garth Brooks: The Road I’m On. At the time of filming, Taylor was a second-year Vanderbilt University student seeking a master’s degree in theological studies.

He stated, “Taylor is quiet courage,” He added, “Taylor will trade her life for someone she doesn’t know.”

Taylor has welcomed children of her own as well. Taylor’s sister Allie praised Taylor as an amazing mother in a May 2021 Mother’s Day Instagram post. Allie was included in the family photo with their mother Mahl, younger sister August, and stepmother Yearwood.

Celebrating the gorgeous mommas in my life. I love you so much”, Allie wrote, “I love you so much,” as the photo’s description. “My beautiful mommas and my sister who is THE coolest mom, other than my other sister who is also the coolest Mom. Happy Mothers Day🖤.

On May 3, 1994, Garth and Mahl welcomed August, a daughter, as their second child.

The Boot claims that she worked at a legal firm and attended the University of Oklahoma after graduating from high school in 2012.

In his A&E documentary, Garth also mentioned August’s “intellect, stubbornness, and will.”

August, who gave birth to her first daughter, Karalynn, in 2013 with her partner and high school sweetheart, Chance Russell, is a mother herself, as Allie disclosed, the Daily Mail reported. Gwendolyn, the couple’s second daughter, was welcomed in 2016.

In a KICKS 105.5 interview earlier that year, Garth praised August’s parenting abilities. “With all due respect to my mother, Ms. Yearwood’s mother, Sandy’s mother, and myself, I doubt any of them could compare to my daughter,” he remarked. “I think she was made to be a mom.”

Garth also talked further about how they were affected by Karalynn’s entrance, saying that at first, he was “worried” about his daughter.

Allie Colleen Brooks, 27

Born on July 28, 1996, Allie, Garth’s youngest daughter, is a country singer who goes by the stage name Allie Colleen. According to her website, she received a degree in songwriting and music business from Belmont University in 2018.

She began touring the United States, stopping in Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, and other states, after signing with the independent label Evangeline Records.

Allie likes to ride horses, get tattoos, work weights, and spend time with her dog, Merry Moo when she’s not traveling. In October 2018, she also wed Jonathan Roberts.

Allie tested positive for COVID-19, but Garth said in July 2020 that she had recovered.

At a news conference to announce he was withdrawing his nomination for the CMA Entertainer of the Year award, he remarked, “As a parent, you just watch over them because you never know what COVID is going to do in the future.” “You pray a lot and hopefully she will come out of this thing with just that.”

Allie posted a cute Father’s Day photo on Instagram the following year, featuring both a current photo of her and her dad (with sister August) and a vintage photo of the two.
